Therapy For Anxiety

What does your path look like?

Do you want to learn how to worry less?

Feeling anxious, stressed, or afraid can be distracting and upsetting, and can disrupt your ability to function well, to perform at work, school, or elsewhere, and to experience healthy relationships. Learning to effectively minimize and manage feelings of anxiety, stress and worry can help you live a happy, productive life.

Anxiety finds the cracks in our armor and works its way in. It fills the spaces where confidence and self-esteem should live. This can keep us from fully engaging with the world—from growing into the person we really want to be.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent many years in roles in which I had to interact with others. I had to learn to talk to people and not be afraid of trying new things. Learning to communicate effectively was critically important if I was to succeed. I learned to access my intrinsic resilient traits to pick myself up when I failed—which did, often. I kept reminding myself that babies learn to walk by falling down—a lot.

Nobody is going to do this for you. If you are going to make it, you have to do it yourself. You don’t have room in your life for anxiety, stress and fear if you want to achieve all those goals you keep thinking about. Together, we can help you learn new ways to cope with anxiety, manage stress, and stop feeding the fears. If you are ready to change, give me a call.
